Prymal PassionCan Bandit live up to his nickname and steal Kata’s heart?

Rogue Shifter Bandit Winston lives for the moment. At thirty-seven, he’s resigned himself to life without a mate and makes out like a bandit in all walks of life. No commitments, no strings, tons of women, wine, and eclectic food. The last thing he expects is to recognize the woman who’s trespassing on his property as his mate.

Kata’s on the run with her daughter and agrees to stay with him only until she finds the sanctuary she’s seeking. Can Bandit live up to his nickname and steal Kata’s heart before she leaves him?

The primal call of Mate Claim sparks a battle among the three species of shifters—Wylfen, Feral, & Rogue—and has for generations. These violent feuds incite hunts by humankind, driving shifters near extinction. To protect their people the aristocratic Wylfen ban the practice of Mate Claim. When a Rogue alpha claims a Wylfen female, the mated pair forms a coalition with a Feral male. An alliance is created: Prymal, a new species & pack born of Rogue, Wylfen, & Feral. And war begins…

In this scene Bandit’s just told Kata she’s not his type and his arousal is due to the fact that he’s been on deployment and hasn’t had sex for some time.

“You wouldn’t care to share your deceased husband’s name, would you, Kata?” Bandit’s breath fanned the tip of her ear when he leaned closer. A faint whiff of cinnamon wafted to her nose.

She shook her head, unsure her vocal cords still worked, because her logical reasoning sure had abandoned any pretense of actually functioning.

Without the beard and mustache, he was even more devastatingly handsome. She was acutely aware of every facet of him, every slight move—like the way his fingers lingered on her wrist, and even the steady rise and fall of his massive chest giddied her.

His blade nose and high, bronzed cheekbones accentuated the sharp hollows above his jaw. He smelled of soap and sunshine and strength. His pumped and sinewy shoulder muscles rippled when he returned the glass to the planked flooring. The armless tank he wore had a low V neckline, and she tried not to stare at the tantalizing dark hair peeking out from under the navy cotton.

Kata folded her hands together against a sudden, crazy need to touch him. To run her fingers over the marked dent between his bicep and deltoid muscles that was delineated by a blue-inked line of symbols tattooed into his tanned flesh. The pattern reminded her of interlinked Celtic infinity rings.

He exuded maleness in his every action. From the brash arrogance of his long-legged stride, to the way he stared at her through half-lidded eyes, not bothering to even attempt to hide the brazen sexuality of his gaze.

Beneath her rump, his arousal thickened, and she couldn’t halt an automatic glance down at his groin. She held her breath when his erection twitched and a dark smudge stained the fabric of his loose gray sweats.

“I lied.”

The raspy growl sent delicious shivers up her spine. It took a few seconds before his words sank into her consciousness. “Beg pardon?”

He lifted her chin with a rough-tipped finger. “I told you a fat lie. I want in you so bad, my balls are so blue as to be black.”

“Oh.” Her mind went on a sex-cation hiatus. Her pussy ached with emptiness, and her inner muscles clenched. He made her feel so safe and warm and right.

Would it be too terrible to simply let it happen? To lose herself in the magic of sex and intimacy just this once? Who knew what the future held for her and Natusya? This might be her last hurrah, the last chance to grab the brass ring, if only for a brief snatch of time.
