As Felcor followed in Earáne’s wake, he studied her. He could tell the moment she became aware of his trick with the blindfold, as she grew tense. She was going to be a definite challenge. Not because she would run from him and their future, but because she would want to be the one in their relationship with the upper hand. She wouldn’t be happy that way though. She needed the man in her life to walk by her side, while he proudly accepted her strengths and weaknesses for what they were. The unfortunate part of that scenario was that he would have to prove to her that he was more powerful and stronger than she was first. That was the only way he was sure that would keep her from bolting. It was the Dark versus Light Elf mix in her personality that was apt to cause trouble. She wanted to spice up her life and retain her freedom. Things didn’t work that way in real life.
When they reached their destination, without getting into trouble, Earáne breathed a sigh of relief. She had half expected Felcor to try something, after he had negated her spell, but he hadn’t. It was the main reason she had added another order onto Jerrol’s rope earlier. Would he be able to bypass those? It wasn’t something she was sure about, because the rope wasn’t hers. She had borrowed it from Jerrol and, one of these days, he was going to want it back. She would miss it but, in the meantime, she enjoyed the benefits it presented.
Earáne spoke a few words, and the rope that had bound Felcor lengthened, before it wound around the trunk of a tree and pulled him tight against it. Earáne had just upped the bar in their power play, and she was curious to know if he would let her get away with it, or if he would retaliate. She wasn’t long finding out.
As Earáne pressed her body against Felcor’s, to sandwich him between the tree trunk and her, she purred her satisfaction.
“You are a fine looking Elf, Felcor.”
“I could say the same for you, Earáne,” Felcor returned, with a meaningful grin.
“We are going to have such fun together,” Earáne breathed into Felcor’s ear, as she traced the edge of it with the tip of her tongue. She wanted to nibble on the tip badly, but he was too tall for her to reach much further than halfway, even when she stood on her toes and stretched as far as she could. She loved tall Elves but there were times when they had their disadvantages. She gave a chuckle, as she felt Felcor’s body vibrate under her touch. He would do much more than that, before she was finished with him, she promised, as she ran her fingers over his muscular torso. She was pleased with what she could feel, as there was much to be thankful for, when it came to an Elven male’s physique. Some were blessed with higher developed muscles than others and, she was happy to find, Felcor was very well endowed.
Felcor decided that Earáne needed to discover that there were limits to what she could get away with, although he wasn’t so sure he wanted to acknowledge them any more than she did. It was something, however, that needed addressing. He felt the edges of her teeth rake down the column of his neck, then stop, so her lips could settle over his Adam’s apple, where she suckled and marked him, before continuing to slide down to the small indent below. He knew where she was headed, and it was time to turn the tables on his sweet Earáne.
