Out of Bounds Book One
Julie Hendricks is a thirty-year-old workaholic who goes to her friend’s bar to meet him for a drink. It’s her first night out in years, and she envisions a normal evening. Instead, she meets Sin, a sexy karaoke DJ who’s not what he seems, and her idea of normal goes completely out the window.
Sin is actually Taliesin, the Welsh god of music and wisdom. For fun, he helps his old college football buddy at the local bar, Out of Bounds. His buddy’s prim friend captures his attention, and he soon reveals more of himself than he usually does.
Julie's attraction to Sin is immediate, even though she doubts she could ever please a god. When her friend’s business is threatened, Julie must help hunt down the enemy while resisting falling in love with the dangerously intriguing Sin.

Excerpt & More
Excerpt:Sin crossed the short distance of the parking lot to her car.
Julie seemed unaware he had found her as she fumbled with her car keys and put one in the lock.
Sin came up behind her and planted his hands on her door, trapping her between his arms. “Going somewhere?”
Julie’s head dropped forward, and she heaved a sigh. “Home.”
“Without saying good-bye?” Sin was close enough to smell the strawberry scent of her hair. He inhaled and exhaled, his breath ruffling the short strands of hair near her ear.
Julie turned, which put her in his near embrace. She turned her face up to his with a stubborn expression. “Yes.”
She had to know he wouldn’t just let her leave. “Why are you running away?”
“I’m not running. I’m just…” Julie’s hand lifted and then fell away, brushing his hip as she did so. “I’m just leaving.”
Sin dipped his head to meet her downcast gaze. “Don’t be afraid of me, Julie. I’m just like a normal man. I just happen to have a bit of cool tricks. I’m not any different.”
Her gaze lifted and pinned his. “Yes, you’re most definitely different.”
“I feel the same about you.” Sin brushed her hair away from her face and delighted in the petal soft skin of her cheek. “I like you, Jules. I want to get to know you.”
“I don’t think that’s a good idea.”
“Why not?”
“Because you’re a god!” Her face scrunched up with a look of frustration. “I’m just me, a normal girl who came here to have a drink. I didn’t expect to meet a freaking god. I certainly didn’t expect to put on a show for the entire bar either.”
Sin’s hand fell away from her face. “I’m sorry. I didn’t embarrass you in there, did I?”
Julie’s eyes glowed like emeralds in the light coming from a nearby street lamp. “Not too much.”
“Then why are you leaving?” Sin moved closer, and his body brushed hers. He slid his hands down and cupped her hips, willing her to stay.
“You know why. You’re a mind reader, right?”
He wished he could make her understand he was just a man. “Not a very good one. I know I just turned reality upside down on you, Julie, but there’s so much more you need to know. I just want the chance to get to know you.”
“It’s late. I should get some sleep.” Julie dropped her gaze and toyed with the key ring in her hand. “It’s been a tiring night, Sin.” A weary sigh escaped her. “To say the least.”
“Look, Jules. I know I sprung this on you, and you must be shocked by what you’ve seen, but I promise you I’m just like any other guy. I’m not going to hurt you.”
“Just like any other guy, huh?” Julie rolled her eyes. “One who just so happens to be a god that can turn into a tiger.”
Sin grimaced, but he had to be honest with her. “I can turn into other stuff too.”
Julie held up a hand. “Please, Sin. The whole god thing is already enough to deal with as it is. Seriously, I’m barely hanging on to my composure here. I need time to think about what you’ve told me.”
“I know. I understand.” He pulled her closer. “I am not trying to scare you, Julie. I just want to be with you.”
“Why?”
He had no easy answer for her. He just knew that he couldn’t let her walk away. “Like I said, I just want to know you. If there’s anything you want to know about me, just ask.”
Julie stared at him, the jewel green gaze intent on his face. “How old are you?”
“Ouch.” Sin gave a mock grimace. “Do we have to bring that up?”
